Disability & Credit Life Insurance

What is it and why is it important?

At a fraction of the cost of your loan, the Credit Union allows you to add to your loan, disability and/or life insurance. Disability and Life Insurance is a protection (insurance policy) that is added on to your loan payment. It is a way of protecting you and your family from unexpected emergencies. It is relatively inexpensive, but it guarantees your loan is paid if you are out of work and unable to pay. It protects both you and your family from an unexpected emergency. Remember, without this coverage you and your family are responsible for the continuation of your outstanding debts/loans.

This insurance policy is important, but it only pays if you are out of work due to a serious injury/ illness or in the case of death.

Your savings federally insured to at least $100,000 and backed by the full faith and credit of the United States Government National Credit Union Administration, a U.S. Government Agency.
